Candice Crizer McDearmon Memorial Scholarship

Scholarship Information

Gerald McDearmon established the Candice Crizer McDearmon Memorial Scholarship in memory of his wife who passed away in 1995 while in Mexico. An RU alumnus, Mrs. McDearmon was a Roanoke School speech and hearing pathologist and US AIR ticket agent. She received her B.S. in Communication Science Disorders in 1975. She was a vital, fun-loving woman whose memory lives on through her family and many friends.

Scholarship Criteria

• This scholarship is restricted to students who have been admitted to the graduate program in Speech/Language Pathology.
