Dr. Noel Eggleston Memorial Scholarship for University Service

Scholarship Information

The Radford University community established this scholarship to recognize student leaders through University and/or community service. Dr. Eggleston served the University in many capacities during his years at Radford, including the University Affairs Committee, Student Affairs and Faculty Affairs Councils, and the Curriculum Committee. He was the advisor for Alpha Sigma Tau Sorority. Dr. Eggleston received the 1984 Donald N. Dedmon award for Professorial Excellence. Dr. Eggleston was a History professor at Radford until his death in October of 1991.

Scholarship Criteria

• Must be a full-time student.
• Must have upper-class status.
• Must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Must exemplify leadership through University and/or community service.
