Dr. Susan Barnard Scholarship for Interior Design

Scholarship Information

Dr. Barnard received a Master of Science in Home Economics from Radford University in 1982. She went on to become the Chair of Interior and Fashion Design at RU. Upon her retirement as Chair, friends and students created this Scholarship in her honor.

Scholarship Criteria

• Applicants must be an Interior Design major at Radford University,
• Be a rising junior.
• Must have an overall GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Selection based on academic merit as determined by the sophomore student’s second year assessment/portfolio review.
• Scholarship awarded to the student achieving the highest portfolio review score.
• Portfolio review application and review is required.
