Scholarship Information

In 2007, Dr. Russell Gregory, a retired RU Professor of Philosophy and Religious Studies and Dr. Sharon Hartline, a RU Professor of Philosophy and Religious Studies decided to work together to endow a scholarship to assist students who are majoring in Philosophy and Religious Studies. With their generous gifts along with gifts from family members, alumni and friends, the fund reached endowment status and the first scholarship was awarded in the 2012-2013 academic year.

Scholarship Criteria

• Applicants must be an incoming or currently enrolled full-time student at Radford University.
• Have a declared major or concentration in Philosophy and Religious Studies.
• Remain in good academic standing and must maintain an overall GPA of 3.0 or better.
• Recipient(s) must reapply for each year to be considered for consecutive awards.
